The speaking test

These are the minutes of the real exam. In the mock, the speaking call is shorter.
The writing
Write the email. See where you lose points.
The formal email is 80 to 120 words, to a landlord or an office. The correction follows the five marking criteria and explains each mistake in English or simple Italian: the register, the conditionals, the closing phrase.

If you fail one part, you retake the whole exam: €100.
At CILS B1 Cittadinanza a failed part cannot be re-sat alone: you take the whole exam again in a later session. The fee is €100; some centres abroad charge more. The course costs less than one retake.

Is this the real exam?
No. It is practice, not official, and you cannot sit the exam online with us. The exam is taken at an authorised centre.
Does the score tell me if I will pass?
No. It is an estimate to show where you stand. It is not an official result and it promises nothing.
Who do I talk to in the call?
An AI practice examiner. It is not a person and not an official examiner. The conversation is recorded.
Does it work for PLIDA or CELI?
The speaking practice also helps people preparing PLIDA or CELI. The mocks and the writing are built on CILS B1 Cittadinanza, not on standard B1 or the other bodies' tasks.
